It is stressful to have a family member or loved one in the hospital. We hope this information makes your experience at Jellico Community Hospital as pleasant as possible.

Visiting Hours

Family and friends are a vital part of making your stay in the hospital a more positive experience. However, there are specific time requirements for those who wish to visit and stay that are important to understand and follow. Our regular visiting hours are 7 a.m. – 9 p.m. unless an overnight stay is approved. Children 12 and under should be discouraged from visiting nursing units and waiting areas unless accompanied at all times by an adult.

Waiting Rooms

Waiting rooms for family and friends are located throughout the hospital close to the nursing stations. These spaces have chairs, and TVs for your comfort. Your nurse will be happy to direct you or your family to these areas.

The Jellico Community Hospital cafeteria is located on the first floor and food selections are prepared daily. We offer lunch in the dining area to visitors. Our salad bar is considered one of the best in the area and offers fresh and local produce. We strive to make our patients healthy and believe that wholesome food is a part of the healing process. Patients are given a menu to select their food choices for the next day, based on the diet the physician prescribed for them.
